Leak Testers Ensure Battery and Fuel Cell Quality
Battery cells, modules and packs, in addition to fuel cell stacks, bipolar plates and other electromobility components, can be precisely tested with modular equipment. Advanced analyzer technology enables reliable detection of electrolyte vapors and leak rates as low as 5 × 10⁻⁷ mbar·l/s. Devices and test stations support all standard air-based methods, including relative pressure testing, differential pressure testing, mass flow testing and back pressure testing.

UV Adhesive Systems Assemble EV Batteries
The LED Powerline 820 AC IC provides high-intensity irradiation and enables precise curing of battery cell housings in seconds. The modular systems can be matched to the specific curing requirements of each adhesive. The LED Spot 100 IC system optimizes curing times to provide faster throughput and improved efficiency. A high-intensity flood system delivers reliable performance with the highest standard of quality.

Ultrasonic Welder Splices and Terminates Cable
The Ultrasafe W is an ultrasonic welder for splicing and terminating high-voltage cables. Functional elements such as cable clamp or cable end-stop can be aligned quickly and reliably. Sensors ensure that parts are correctly inserted into the machine. A special clamping mechanism keeps parts in the correct position at all times, and enables tools to be changed quickly and without needing to be realigned. Maximum welding force is 10,000 newtons.

Optical Inspection System Tests Batteries
An optical inspection system ensures 100 percent quality in EV battery production. The AI-based inline system enables precise dimensional and geometric verification of cells, modules and packs, including both prismatic and round cell formats. Applications include preweld terminal inspection; general dimensional and geometric verification; distance measurement; 3D inline measurement of bus bars; and weld quality verification. All systems are designed for easy integration into production lines without slowing down throughput.
